Welcome to EZ IFR. The following terms and conditions govern all use of our services, courses, and the content on the website https://ezifr.com/. By using our website or engaging in our courses, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
2. Course Fees and Inclusions
2.1. The cost of the course when using your own aircraft is $5699.00. This cost includes unlimited flight and ground instruction, unlimited use of our redbird simulator, a dedicated CFII for the entirety of your course, and all course material.
2.2. If you opt to use one of our aircraft, we estimate 20 hours of usage, which would total $8999.00.
2.3. All other expenses, including but not limited to housing, food, transportation, DPE cost, are not included in the course fee and are the responsibility of the student.
3. Course Materials
Upon scheduling the course, students will be provided with an EZ IFR kit, including foggles, ACS standards, Oral exam guide, study guide, and a pilot workshop IFR manual.
4. Course Duration and Scheduling
4.1. Our accelerated IFR course spans 6 days, with 5 full days of training and a check ride on the 6th day.
4.2. The typical schedule is from 8am to 5pm, though adjustments can be made upon agreement with the assigned CFII.
4.3. Training involves the use of our redbird flight simulator during the first half of the day, and aircraft training in the second half.
5. Check Ride Outcomes
5.1. In the unlikely event of an unsuccessful check ride, students can avail of 2 additional days of instruction at no extra charge.
5.2. Our examiners are not in-house, but they collaborate closely with us to ensure flexibility and availability.
6. Housing for Students
We have negotiated special rates with local hotels and Airbnb properties. Links to these accommodation options can be found on our website.
7. Prerequisites
Before beginning the course, students must ensure the following:
- Completion of the written test.
- Accumulation of 40 hours of Cross Country PIC.
- 10 hours of simulated instrument time.
- Possession of a current medical certificate.
- If using your own aircraft, it must be IFR-rated.
8. Delays in Training
8.1. We strive to adhere to the training schedule. However, unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions may occasionally result in delays.
8.2. In case of such delays, we commit to completing the training as expeditiously as possible.
9. Success Rate
Our program boasts a success rate of over 95%, thanks to our comprehensive and efficient training methods.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we endeavor to provide high-quality training, EZ IFR cannot guarantee successful completion or certification for all students. Each student’s success depends on individual performance, dedication, and other factors.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
EZ IFR reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page.
